It’s been a good 18 years, and just right for a reflection post to be grateful for everything that has happened to me that made me the person I am today :)
Life isn’t perfect, but it is as good as it can get, and I really can’t/shouldn’t ask for…HAPPY BIRTHDAY BERNICE WOOLALA *dances in circle* HAHA.

It’s been a good 18 years, and just right for a reflection post to be grateful for everything that has happened to me that made me the person I am today :)
Life isn’t perfect, but it is as good as it can get, and I really can’t/shouldn’t ask for more, but cherish what I have, and learn to give back to them. I know that sometimes I’m not the most pro-active person in keeping in contact with people, which is what makes me even more thankful to the friends around me who take the effort to do so :)
Luck has always been on my side when it comes to friends making.

Thank you Garry for helping me with Math (since sec 4) and Waikit too! For just being such the nice person you are hahaha, and helping us with math too :D
And especially Isis, NingQian and SuanYing :)
Thank you for being with me for the past 7 years, and always keeping in contact, going out for regular dinners and chats even though we’ve NEVER been in the same schools since we left NCPS, and that we all live in vastly different areas (except NQ heh). I love you guys, and we are DEFINITELY going to be growing old together ;D
And then there was Xinmin Secondary, which is a decision in my life that I will NEVER regret since it has given me the most unforgettable memories and friends :)
The 202 girls (and guy/guys lol) who are a really nice bunch of people who’ve stuck through together under the most horrendous ‘cher hehe.
And then there’s the Beijing trip in sec 3
which gained me a whole lot of friends whom I might not even have talked to if I hadn’t gone for it. It was one of the BEST overseas trips I’d ever had with a school, which is what’s going to be so special for me (especially since the people are all so special too!) :)
Then there’s SLB, where everyone’s like a family (at least in our time xD),
Life without SLB definitely wouldn’t be the same. I was given the chance to organise Orientation, plan camps, REFLECT (I believe my brains was worked out the most in SLB), make friends across ALL ages hehe. My friendship with Charmaine, I believe, started from there too ;D And with Jiayun too ;D And then there’s Elgin, Mingting, Dom, Sherina etc etc etc who gave me SOOOO MUCHH help and encouragement throughout secondary school and even JC.
And drama, of course, where I’ve really given sweat and tears for (nope, no blood), but will never regret it.
I will always remember Kahwei and Toysville Toystore and the joy it has given me, as well as our persistence in performing to our best even if we were not highly recognised by the school. One day, just ONE DAY, XMS Drama will get a gold!
A post about secondary school life will definitely include FOUR-OH-THREEEEEE :D The best best best people and time and memories and laughter and BBQs EVER!!
What would secondary school life be without them, honestly :) I think I’ve talked so much about 403 in the past, there really isn’t a need to reiterate it again. BUT MAN, WE WERE THE BOMB!! :D

You all have also always been there (somewhere, somehow!) with the SAME HUMOUR AND JOKES ALL THE TIME :D And with surprises that are becoming traditions already hahahahaha.
I think there was something exclusive about the humour within the people from XMS too. It was something so special that I don’t think I’ll ever experience again in the near future ):
And the recent 1 year plus that I spent in NY..
The Batam trip, SLC, Orientation, 1038! :D (I am getting lazy lolol, it’s late..)
And the special 3 Charmaine (not the same one as the above!), Shane and Xuanhui!
In all, I’m just really, really thankful for these friends that I’ve made throughout my 18 years of life. I really think I must have had loads of good karma, that god has bestowed me with such wonderful friends and memories where ever I go. :)

It was really a great Eighteenth :) No booze, no fancy parties, just simple dinner and wishes from everyone :)
Just feeling really thankful to everyone in my life now :)
I don’t feel the urgency. Yet.
I just need to get over the Nodame Cantabile fangirl phase AND Chiaki/Tamaki Hiroshi crush phase (KYAAAAAAAAA!) It’s been SOOOO long since I’ve had such an enjoyable time watching a TV drama, and it really made me regret not following it long ago so I could at least catch the movie in the theatres and watch the concerts (in the movie) on the HUGE screen. (NUUUUUUUUUUUUU)
Regardless, TV shows allow me to retain my sanity, and keeps me motivated about life. The events don’t happen in real life, but one can hope! I feel a lot more charged up already about the upcoming (approx) 170 days battle.
